A racing game, Monster Truck Madness allows players to
select a truck and compete with AI players in one of four modes - Drag, Circuit, Rally and
Tournament. Throughout the game, commentary is provided by "Army" Armstrong,
purportedly the Murray Walker of the monster trucking world.
Monster Truck Madness is easy to understand and get up and running. You'll be racing 2
minutes after you install the program. Climb mountains, go through mud, plow through water
and pull cookies in the sand--and you don't have to stay on the road! You can race on a
rookie, intermediate, or advanced level.
You have a choice of 10 famous Monster Trucks and
five circuit tracks to race on in Monster Truck Madness. Customize your vehicle based on
the tracks' condition. Choose your tire cut depth, shock handling and gear ratio.
Participate in four different events (Rally Racing, Drag Racing, Circuit and Tournaments),
view the race from at least half a dozen angles, and compete against up to eight other
players for a coveted first place in the Hall of Fame.
Monster Truck Madness can be easily played via keyboard
alone. Set the CTRL key to be your accelerator and use the arrow keys to turn. |
